Forum Statistics
The top box on the security page shows you the statistics for the forum. You can also switch to manage another forum.
Viewing and Posting restrictions
You can set the viewing and posting restrictions for the forum. For more indepth information about setting restrictions read the Forum Access page
Poster Permissions
You can allow your members to do various things or use signature in the permissions box.
Moderator screening is a setting that allows you to screen all posts before they are released for public viewing.
If you check the box beside polls, then your members will see a button that allows them to start a new poll in this forum.
Special members
Special members are members who have access to the forum that is different to the default access settings. You will also see members here who have been denied access. In the example below, each member has been set differently.
- Arizona can only read the forum, she cannot reply or start new topics
- cedar can reply, but not start new topics.
- cedar rose has no access to the forum at all - even if it's a non restricted forum
- Chris w962 can view, reply and start new topics
- Favafoyo is a moderator in this forum.
If the default access settings are changed, the members on this list do not. To return a member to the default setting, click "use auto rule"
