IP Lookups and Bans

The IP lookup feature allows you do a reverse IP lookup of profiles that have posted on your Yuku community.

Looking Up IP’s by Name

To lookup an IP address by a profile name:

1. Open the Menu.
2. Click on the ‘Member’ link under Manage Domain Users.
3. Click on the ‘view ips’ link
4. Type in the Profile name that you want to look up
5. Click the ‘LOOKUP NAME’ button.

You will see a list of IP addresses and posts made by that user. You will also have the options to ban the profile or IP address:

Looking Up Names by IP

To lookup a profile name by an IP address:

1. Open the Menu.
2. Click on the ‘Member’ link under Manage Domain Users.
3. Click on the ‘view ips’ link
4. Type in the IP address you want to look up
5. Click the ‘LOOKUP IP’ button.

You will see a list of profile names associated with that IP address. You will also have the options to ban the IP address or profile:

Banning a Profile

To ban a profile from the IP lookup screen:

1. Click the ‘BAN PROFILE’ button next to the profile name that you want to ban.
2. Enter the Private Message To Banned Profile
3. Enter the Domain Admin Banning Notes
4. Click on the ‘BAN PROFILE’ button

The profile’s status will be changed to “Banned” on your manage profiles page.

Banning a Profile

To ban a profile from the IP lookup screen:

1. Click the ‘BAN IP’ button next to the IP address that you want to ban.
2. Enter the Domain Admin Banning Notes
3. Click on the ‘BAN IP’ button

The IP address will be automatically added to the list of banned IP’s on your ‘ip bans’ page.
