How to Report a Bug

If you find a bug in the Yuku software, please follow these bug reporting guidelines to enable us to help you quicker.


Where to Report a Bug

Please report Yuku bugs at the Yuku Bug Forum.


Bug Report Format

When reporting a Yuku bug please follow this format:

Subject Line - This is the title of the bug or bug name. Please be descriptive in your topic title - summarise in a single line if possible.

Brief description of the bug - Be brief and to the point, and make sure the bug description is clear as possible.

Steps to duplicate - Be specific and as detailed as possible. Provide all the information that we'll need to reproduce your bug. Try to outline every step that was taken to arrive at the bug, and give all relevent urls. Don't just say "on some boards" but give urls to those boards instead.

Result - This is what is happening instead of the expected result. The Yuku dev team will need this info to verify that they have correctly duplicated the bug. If you merely say that there is a problem, then we may not know if we are seeing the same thing as you.

Tags - Please use the tags area to add relevant tags. This helps us aand others when searching for related bugs.


Example of a good bug report

Subject Line - Getting logged out when posting a new topic at skins.

Brief Description - Every time I try and start a new topic, I get logged out. This is only happening at skins.

Steps to duplicate

  • 1. log into "atlass" account
  • 2. Go to skins: http://skins.yuku.com
  • 3. Go to the general chat forum
  • 4. Click new topic

Result - Instead of the new topic page coming up, I get redirected to the main login page.
