Friends
You can add the friends you make on when posting on Yuku communities to your profile:
Default Friend
When you first join you will find Yuku Team in your friends block. This is a staff account who is happy to help if you have any questions. If you don't want Yuku Team as a friend just remove them (see Removing Friends below).
Connecting with Friends
You can connect/disconnect friends to your profile via the User Interact Menu.
To connect to a profile:
- Click the
User Info icon.
- Click the Friend link.
- Click the connect button to add the user's profile to your friends list.
When the user accepts your connection request their profile will be added to your friends block.
Approving Friend requests
- When someone requests to be your friend, you will notice a number beside the face icon in your nav bar.
- Click the icon to go to your inbound friends page where you can approve or deny your friend requests.
Removing Friends
To disconnect from a profile:
- Click the
User Info icon.
- Click the Friend link.
- Click the connect button to remove the user's profile from your friends list.
The profile will be automatically removed from your friends list.
Managing Friends
To manage and sort your friends:
- Go to your profile.
- Scroll down to the friends box.
- Click on the 'Edit and Sort Your Friends' link.
This will take you to your main friends page.
- Scroll down to the Friends Navigation menu at the bottom left column
From the Friends navigation menu you can view your friends, manage your friend connections, and sort your friends.
Inbound
You can accept and deny friend requests here.
The profile will be automatically added to your friends list if you approve the connection. If you deny the friend request connection the profile will be automatically added to your Denied list.
Denied Friend Requests
This will show you a list of friend requests that you denied.
Sort my friends
This will allow you to sort your friends and selet the top 10 friends to show on your profile page.
- Mouse over the avatar of the friend that you want to sort.
- While holding the left mouse button, drag the avatar(s) into the blue boxes to sort your Top 10 friends.
You can use the search box to find a friend by name if you have many pages of friends.
Editing the Friends Block
You can control who can see your friends as well as change the titles on your friends profile block.
To edit this block:
- Go to your profile.
- Click the [Edit] link on the friends block.
Here you can set who can view your friends block, and change the titles used in your friends block.
When you have finished, click the Save button.
